We are currently seeking positive, energetic and motivated people to join our Air New Zealand whanau at Auckland Airport, and we are excited to open our Expression of Interest for permanent, part time Baggage Handlers and Loaders to start from August 2025!
What will you be doing?
As a Baggage Handler or Loader, you will work within a close team loading and unloading passenger bags for both arriving and departing flights. You will have the ability to accurately read bag tag information as well as drive baggage to and from our aircraft. You will be working behind the scenes at Auckland Airport in a busy environment, continually lifting bags, so being fit and enjoying working in a physical role is crucial. As a Loader, you will also be responsible for the cleaning and the presentation of our aircraft.

Minimum Requirements:
- Eligible to work and live in New Zealand permanently (New Zealand/Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- You must hold a NZ Full Licence at time of submitting your online application
- At least 2 years' work experience in a physical or labouring role
- Be flexible and committed to work rostered shifts
This is a permanent role with up to 35 rostered hours per week and a minimum of 25 hours per week. Overtime will also be available at times. You will be working on a rotating roster, so flexibility is key! The shifts can range between the hours of 4.00am and 2:00am and you will be required to work a mix of weekdays, weekends and public holidays if rostered.
