Ground Operations Standards are looking for a Permanent Ground Operations Specialist (Customer).
Reporting to the Chapter Lead Ground Operations Standards (Customer), this exciting opportunity involves supporting operational innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will provide key operational input and ensure the design and implementation in our airport environment are risk-managed, safe, effective, and regulatory compliant.
To be successful in this role you will bring broad experience in an operational airport role, with deep knowledge of Front of House policy, procedure, infrastructure, and systems.
About the Role:
- Ongoing support to the global network in port re-starts
- Addressing operational safety trends
- Flow-to-work SME support for new initiatives or changes
- Internal and external audit activity
- Managing the Airport Passenger Handling and Service Control manuals
- A wide range of continuous improvement activity.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Good collaboration skills and ability to influence at all levels
- Experience with project and/or change management is preferred
- Ability to deliver against Brilliant Basics and Digital Dexterity while prioritising people and safety through operational product and process initiatives
- Focused, well-organised, able to handle competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Minimum of two years airport operations experience, specifically with exposure to Front of House (Check-in, Gate, Service Control, BTU, AOC).
