Learning Facilitator

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Facilitator for our Maintenance Training Organisation (MTO) based in Christchurch. Our MTO plays a key role in ensuring our engineers are trained to the highest standard.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Facilitate aircraft type training across a range of fleet types including Q300, ATR, A320, B777, B787, and C130
  • Coach and mentor engineering trainees to ensure competence and confidence in their technical skills
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences aligned to Air New Zealand’s learning standards and brand values
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and provide constructive feedback to support ongoing growth and learning
  • Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve course design and instructional delivery
  • Represent the MTO as a subject matter expert, maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience facilitating aircraft type training, ideally across multiple aircraft types
  • Strong instructional design, presentation, and coaching skills with a focus on learner success
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to apply learning insights to operational outcomes
  • A proactive, innovative mindset and a collaborative approach
