Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Turboprop

Air New Zealand currently have a vacancy in our Nelson base for a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. The Air New Zealand ATR and Q300 fleets are maintained in Nelson’s world class hangar, and we are looking for an experienced Q300/ATR engineer preferably with Avionics ratings/experience to join the business on a full-time night-shift basis.

Working in a team, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance work for our fleet of aircraft - identifying, documenting, and resolving defects with the ability to focus on safe, compliant and efficient delivery through all our activities.

This role will suit you if you enjoy providing a high level of customer service and can develop and maintain relationships with all types of people. You will be a proactive, team player with good problem-solving skills and the ability to use your initiative. Strong communication skills especially the ability to research, understand and apply technical information are essential.

Requirements for this position includes:

  • CAANZ License (Q300 and or ATR B2 Avionics Certified Engineer (LAME) qualifications will be an advantage).
