Marketing and Communications Specialist

You will help build Tandem’s voice in the market and turn strategy into consistent, credible visibility.
As Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will coordinate and deliver an always-on external communications programme that strengthens brand presence, builds trust and supports new business growth and customer retention. You will ensure messaging is clear, timely and aligned across channels, while linking activity directly to commercial outcomes.
Working closely with internal communications and key stakeholders, you will create joined-up storytelling that turns proof into impact.
About the role
- Deliver an external marketing and communications plan aligned to business priorities
- Create and publish engaging content across email, web and LinkedIn
- Develop case studies, proof points and credibility assets and coordinate their use across channels
- Manage bulk customer communications end to end with performance reporting
- Produce a customer newsletter and a regular LinkedIn industry update newsletter
- Maintain website content and support optimisation for search and discovery
- Manage Tandem’s LinkedIn cadence, scheduling and community management
- Support partnership marketing activity and provide simple reporting on outcomes
- Monitor engagement and performance, recommending improvements that lift results.
What you will bring
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, PR or a related discipline (preferred)
- 3 or more years’ experience in marketing or communications, ideally in a B2B environment
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Experience across digital channels including email, web and social
- Confidence using a CMS and email marketing platforms
- Ability to manage approvals, stakeholders and tight timelines
- A mindset that links communications activity to measurable outcomes.
