The Marketing Executive will report directly to the Area Manager of the UK/Europe and will contribute to the regional marketing strategy, implement marketing activity through all channels, and lead partnership activity.
About the role:
You will be a commercially savvy, results-driven marketer who enjoys being hands-on and managing innovative marketing campaigns focusing on Consumer and Indirect Trade Leisure customers.
You will collaborate with internal and external partners and teams across our business and region of remit as you manage joint-venture multi-channel campaigns, ensuring all activity is optimised to maximise ROI for Air New Zealand and partners. The role will be varied, and your proactive approach and ability to manage multiple deadlines will be highly valued as you support various projects and business areas.
With your exceptional people skills, you will quickly build and maintain effective relationships with many internal and external partners to ensure the successful development and execution of strategies.
What you will do:
- Contribute positively to a cohesive and aligned multi-channel marketing strategy.
- Work directly with multiple stakeholders to execute successful campaigns.
- Take ownership of ongoing communications management, which raises awareness of products, services, sales and incentives.
- Execute strategies to optimise engagement across both own and partnership channels and provide insights to maximise performance.
- Support Air New Zealand's sales team in developing and growing existing business with key accounts through supporting collateral, developing bespoke promotions, and holding joint external planning meetings.
- Support the management and coordination of Air New Zealand events.
- Maintain a communications calendar for all marketing activity and monitor competitor activity.
- Be a customer advocate and ensure we know our customers better than our competitors do.
- Budget management.
Our ideal candidate:
- Enthusiasm and can-do attitude, with an eagerness to learn
- Experience driving high-performance and positive business partnerships with media and creative agencies and external partners.
- Demonstrated experience applying trends, customer insights, best practices and industry knowledge to shape marketing strategies.
- Experience developing, executing and optimising innovative marketing campaigns.
- Strong business acumen and commercial understanding, and experience managing campaign budgets
- Ability to manage expectations and stakeholders to prioritise workload, often with conflicting demands and deadlines.
- Business/marketing degree combined with 2+ years of business and marketing experience. German conversational language level is highly advantageous but not a prerequisite.
- You'll be a team player who loves travel and enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
