Air New Zealand's purpose is to enrich our country by connecting New Zealanders to each other and New Zealand to the world, and as a brand promise, we endeavour to offer Manaaki to all our employees and customers - taking care further than any other airline. Our goal is to create compelling experiences that empower and connect, and as part of that, we are embarking on a significant transformation of the customer experience.
We’re looking for an NDC Trade Content & Training Manager (NDC Senior Specialist) to join our Distribution team and lead how we engage and enable the trade as we roll out NDC. This role is ideal for someone with a knack for simplifying complexity, who enjoys working across commercial, comms, and sales teams, and who understands how important the right content and training are to successful channel change. You’ll play a key part in preparing the trade for what’s next.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the NDC content stream on Air New Zealand’s agent website and trade hub
- Create and maintain FAQs, quick guides, playbooks, and troubleshooting materials for trade users
- Maintain and update NDC-related agent website content using Air New Zealand’s CMS, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with current trade messaging
- Develop trade education collateral (e.g. webinars, e-learning modules, workshops) to support NDC adoption
- Support internal sales and frontline teams with NDC briefing tools and talking points
- Coordinate feedback from trade and internal teams to continuously improve content relevance and usability
- Work with Brand and Comms teams to shape clear, compelling trade messaging
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Strong B2B communication and writing skills
- Experience creating enablement or training materials
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) for updating and maintaining trade-facing website content
- Understanding of indirect distribution and travel agency workflows
- Comfortable translating complex technical concepts into clear, agent-friendly language
- 5+ years in a similar role in Travel and Aviation Industry
