Planning Support Officer Components

We have a permanent, full time opportunity for someone to join us as a Planning Clerk in the Components Repair Services section.

This role has a strong clerical  focus, but it is not just a desk job.  It involves hands-on identification and induction of aircraft parts from wheels and brakes to "black box Flight recorders".  As some of the Components are large, they require a moderate level of fitness and flexibility to manoeuvre.

Under the direction of the Component Planning Co-ordinator, you will assist Planners with data input, documentation and reporting activities, to ensure that component planning requirements are met. You will do this by creating/managing/completing Workshop Component Work Packages in a timely manner as well as carrying out general office administration.

To be successful in this role you will need to be open to learning new skills, enjoy having changing priorities and be customer focussed as you will be dealing with internal and external customers and suppliers.

Other key skills required:

• Proven typing and keyboard skills
• Time management and organisation
• Excellent written and oral communication
• General administration skills and/or a knowledge of CERES would be an advantage
• Intermediate level in the use of Microsoft Office
• Have, or ability to obtain Fork hoist qualifications
