We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer (Site Reliability Engineering) to join our Connected Aircraft Squad within the Engineering Tribe. Based at Auckland Airport, this role will report to the Chapter Lead of Site Reliability Engineering, and you’ll be part of the 24/7 on-call roster with an additional on-call allowance.

What do we look for?

• Lead and mentor the Operations and Support team to ensure operational integrity of Digital products and platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to assess product strategies and ensure technical feasibility and service levels.
• Lead minor projects to enhance functionality, stability, and supportability of solutions.
• This role involves participation in an on-call roster.  
• 7+ years of technical leadership or Solution Architecture experience.
• Proven experience in defining product strategy and managing technical roadmaps.
• Strong background in coaching and mentoring technical teams.
• Experience leading operations and support teams for enterprise-scale, customer-facing software solutions.
