We are recruiting for a Sales Specialist (Group Sales Coordinator) to join our highly engaged Group Sales team based in Auckland. In this diverse role you will be responsible for managing the group bookings for Air New Zealand's industry partners and supporting the ongoing commercial viability of the business. This is a fixed-term opportunity covering Parental Leave until May 2025.
Reporting to the Chapter Lead (Groups), you will be the first point of contact for our diverse customer base. You will work collaboratively with various internal business areas including Revenue Management, Financial Shared Services and Network Management to maximise value to our customers and the business.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing administration support to managers to ensure effective implementation of new customers.
- Developing and maintaining highly effective relationships across the Group with all internal and external customers and project stakeholders to determine their needs and prioritise, effectively deliver, and satisfy the business needs and stakeholders objectives.
- Assisting with the design, development, and implementation of new report
- Completing scheduled revenue audit review cycles and so much more!
Key skills and essentials:
- Proven GDS / Reservation ticketing experience (preferably Qik) is a must. Your strong airfares and destination knowledge will see you hitting the ground running maintaining an efficient and accurate portfolio of bookings.
- Your drive to "make it happen", strong customer focus and ability to deal with ambiguity will be highly valued, as shall your commercial acumen and collaborative approach to relationship building.
- Juggling multiple tasks concurrently shall be second nature, as you constantly strive to work proactively to remain two steps ahead ensuring everything is running at optimum efficiency.
