Business Analysts are agents of change within the airline, supporting value-led decision making within the airline’s most complex and high value opportunity spaces. Developing a deep understanding of customers, business needs, processes and technology, business analysts break down complex problems, identify and analyse options to guide conscious prioritisation calls to maximise early, efficient and consistent delivery of value.
This role will suit someone who is naturally curious and prepared to get into the detail. There will be a level of ambiguity you will need to be comfortable with, coupled with complexity of the airline environment and the pace at which we work. Your desire to get the best outcome for our customers and business will help you define great outcomes, and you will have demonstrated you can work with various business stakeholders, building trust and partnerships across a wide group.
Our successful candidate:
- 5+ years of analytical experience in complex environments and demonstratable breadth of portfolio experience
- Leverages expertise and strategic approach to deliver impactful and value-led outcomes. Comprehensive analysis, understanding and interpretation of data, reporting and presenting complex information to all audiences succinctly
- Puts a customer lens on all that they do while balancing business needs and demonstrating sound commercial acumen
- Uses BA skillset to navigate through complex and ambiguous problem and opportunity areas spanning different domains, applications and/or processes across business and technical disciplines.
- Develops exemplary BA artefacts for new and changes to existing applications/systems/processes to succinctly identify and communicate complex problems
- Has proven experience working in Agile environments and exercises strong prioritisation skills with the goal to deliver value early and in a de-risked manner
- Thinks independently, confidently makes recommendations, effectively influencing stakeholders and external partners.
- Champions the craft, educating the business of Business Analysis value proposition.
