We’re after someone who is highly commercially astute and able to demonstrate global industry leadership, as well as someone who has deep experience in negotiation and partnerships relationship management - someone to help us continue to build a world-class Airpoints ecosystem in Financial Services.

Our successful candidate:

  • Must have rich experience in banking and financial services, payments, retail banking, and broader bank strategies
  • Has an outcome orientation and places a customer lens on all that they do
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen, with experience identifying and leveraging market opportunities to drive product profitability and achieve business outcomes
  • Has a unique balance of vision and pragmatism. We want someone who will push the envelope and work with delivery teams to get value to our customers quickly
  • Has a proven track record of taking ownership, creating product visions and strategies, and delivering meaningful outcomes
  • Is a sophisticated negotiator with demonstrated experience in negotiating and leading large complex partnerships
  • Brings strong storytelling capability, championing product outcomes, strategy and roadmaps across diverse partners including technical, commercial, operations and external
  • Is strategic, creative and an analytic thinker.
  • Is a strong innovator and communicator who collaborates, initiates, advocates and influences effectively, with demonstrated relationship building capabilities.

In return:

You'll be involved in bringing to life new and innovative customer products and propositions within Airpoints and taking our existing Airpoints offering to the next level.  You'll be driving the future of our customer proposition across a portfolio of products, and ensuring this can be operationalised. You'll join a supportive team who all work collaboratively together to achieve great things for our customers and Air New Zealand. Not to mention the staff travel!
