We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing data and transactions, extracting information to ensure timely and accurate information is available, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide permanent backup for the Payments Coordinator role, covering pay runs for both PeopleSoft and SAP. This includes ensuring that all payment processes are completed accurately and on time
- Extract and analyse data, issue billings, and ensure timely and accurate information is provided for decision-making. This involves working closely with various departments to gather and interpret data
- Capture and enter data and/or process transactions according to business rules and established procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance. This includes verifying the accuracy of data and making necessary corrections
- Resolve and correct processing errors to mitigate potential losses. This involves identifying errors, investigating their causes, and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and ensure smooth operations. This includes participating in team meetings and contributing to process improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all transactions and processes. This includes ensuring that all records are up-to-date and easily accessible for auditing and reporting purposes
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed. This includes providing support to other team members and taking on additional responsibilities as required.
Work Experience:
- Previous experience in a high-volume data processing environment is essential. This includes experience with data entry, transaction processing, and data analysis
- Experience with PeopleSoft and SAP is highly desirable. This includes familiarity with the payment processes and data management systems used in these platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. This includes the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is essential. This includes the ability to work with large amounts of data and ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. This includes the ability to work effectively with team members and other departments.
Education:
- Minimum 3 years of secondary education is required. This includes a high school diploma or equivalent
- Additional education or training in data processing, business administration, or a related field is highly desirable. This includes courses or certifications in data management, transaction processing, or business analysis.
