Crew Controller

Air New Zealand has permanent opportunity for a Crew Controller to join our team based at our Auckland Airport Campus.

The Crew Control team is responsible for developing and coordinating short-term operational crewing plans for Air New Zealand's jet network to ensure all flights are correctly crewed in accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements. Timely and efficient crewing of flights helps achieve our customer service standards and required profitability.

Every job has its challenges, and in this role, so you will need to be someone who can stay calm and optimistic to provide optimised crewing solutions during flight disruptions. You will thrive on solving operational problems to achieve great outcomes for our business and our customers and you will demonstrate excellent communication skills with a range of stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have had experience in a rostering or resource planning role or experience in operations. A good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook is essential. An in-depth understanding of airport processes concerning achieving network performance and flying operations is also advantageous.
