We currently have a Permanent, Part Time Customer Service Agent opportunity available in Tauranga Airport.
Working at Tauranga Airport, you will be part of a busy and pressured environment - one which demands a love of people, travel, and a high level of resilience. Every customer has a different story, a different personality and a different culture so you will always be learning something new.
Our busy team provides positive and friendly service to ensure customers have an efficient and enjoyable travel experience. There will be times of high pressure and tight deadlines so you will need to be resilient and adapt to change quickly. Your responsibilities will vary - from checking in customers, assisting passengers with special requirements, dispatching flights, helping with disrupts and assisting with flight arrivals and departures.
Shift Roster
The part time role you will be working a minimum of 36 hours per fortnight up to a maximum of 72 hours per fortnight. You are required to work rostered shifts which rotate and change. This includes working days, nights, weekends and public holidays. The shifts can range from a 0500 am start to a 2200 finish. Working on rostered shifts which rotate and change, the hours will vary depending on the business needs and flight schedule.
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have strong frontline customer service experience and exhibit a willingness to go above and beyond for our customers. Your excellent communication skills and professional, friendly manner will be critical to your success in this position. We value people who use their initiative and have good problem-solving abilities.
- Entitled to work permanently in New Zealand at time of applying (NZ Citizen, NZ Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen)
- Minimum Restricted New Zealand Drivers Licence at time of application, with reliable transport to get to work
- Experience in a relevant customer-facing role, preferably in a high-pressure environment
- Professional personal presentation, from communication to grooming, and able to comply with the Uniform Standards
