People Safety Business Partner

As part of our People Safety team, you will join a group of trusted experts who partner with leaders across the business to embed aviation, occupational health, safety and wellbeing practices that genuinely make a difference. How you will make an impact
- Partner with senior leaders to shape and deliver People Safety initiatives that build strong safety ownership and lift performance across operational teams
- Coach leaders to strengthen safety culture, decision making and risk management behaviours
- Translate the Group People Safety Strategy into practical programmes that support each business unit’s needs and priorities
- Act as a senior advocate to the Group General Managers, General Managers and Airline Leadership Team to broker specialist support from the wider People Safety Assurance team
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities, using insights and data to guide continuous improvement
- Build strong, trusting relationships across diverse stakeholder groups to ensure safety is integrated into day to day operations.
What you will bring
- A certified national qualification or recognised Diploma in health and safety
- Proven experience applying health and safety principles in a large, complex organisation
- Strong influencing skills and confidence coaching leaders at all levels
- Ability to build engagement across diverse teams and motivate others to adopt safer ways of working
- Skilled at navigating competing priorities while maintaining a calm, solutions focused approach
