Production Planner - Support Shops

Join Air New Zealand’s Auckland Planning Team as a Production Planner providing planning support for our Support Shops & QEC (Quick Engine Change) departments in a permanent day shift position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing end-to-end processes with an organized and methodical approach across various business groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate maintenance, repair, overhaul, and manufacturing work for Air New Zealand and customer aircraft and components
• Provide planning support for the QEC Department and cover for other Workshop Planners during high demand or absence
• Plan On-wing Borescope activity and Engine Off-Shore movements, liaising with the Lifecycle Group
• Produce quotes and estimates, working closely with Production for scheduled and ad hoc activities within budgetary constraints
• Oversee multiple tasks and projects, providing post/WIP product analysis reporting and invoicing support as required.

Requirements:

• Project management skills
• Planning experience, preferably in Engineering or Aircraft Maintenance
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work autonomously and as an engaged team player
• The drive to meet deadlines and expectations while demonstrating a very high level of accuracy.
