Sales Capability Specialist (Senior Sales Specialist)

We're recruiting for a Sales Capability Specialist (Senior Sales Specialist) to join the Sales team based in Auckland. As our Sales Capability Specialist, your mission is to build a high-performance sales culture grounded in consistency, rigour, and proven sales methodologies.

You’ll lead the development of structured sales protocols and embed our preferred sales training programs across the team. From onboarding through to coaching and performance uplift, you'll be the architect of sales excellence, ensuring our people are confident, capable, and aligned to strategic goals.

By driving best-practice behaviours, streamlining tools and processes, and setting clear expectations, you’ll create the environment and momentum needed to maximise revenue and deliver measurable results.

The role you will play: 

  • Establishing consistent sales protocols and process discipline across teams.
  • Embedding preferred sales frameworks and training to lift capability and confidence.
  • Coaching and supporting leaders to create accountability and unlock team potential.
  • Using data and performance metrics to drive continual improvement.
  • Aligning sales operations with broader commercial strategy to optimise revenue outcomes.
  • Leading the Sales & Operations team to deliver customer excellence and operational efficiency.

Our ideal candidate:

You’re not just passionate about sales—you’re passionate about doing it right.

  • A tertiary qualification in business or equivalent commercial experience.
  • 5+ years in Sales or Marketing, with a proven ability to influence strategy and execution.
  • Hands-on experience embedding structured sales methodologies and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on performance outcomes and ROI.
  • A leadership style that balances accountability with inspiration.
  • Sharp stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
