Senior Digital Workspace Enablement Specialist

The Senior Digital Workspace Enablement Specialist sits within the Digital Workspace Enablement team in our Digital Platforms Tribe. You’ll act as a technical subject matter expert and trusted advisor, contributing to strategy, standards, and continuous improvement across end user computing and productivity platforms. Air New Zealand is on a journey to become the world’s leading digital airline, and this role plays a critical part in how our people connect, collaborate, and deliver.

About the role:

  • Lead and contribute to discovery, consulting, and delivery of digital workspace improvements that increase adoption and productivity.
  • Be a SME contributor to standards and strategy for EUC and productivity platforms, ensuring secure and fit for purpose solutions.
  • Manage and influence vendors across workplace platforms, licensing, hardware, and managed services.
  • Provide technical leadership across complex initiatives such as OS migrations, platform shifts, and major upgrades.
  • Provide technical authority, mentoring junior specialists and uplifting chapter capability.
  • Drive monitoring, reporting, and cost control to meet agreed service levels and outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in service delivery or operational management within large, multi-vendor Digital or IT environments.
  • Deep knowledge of modern digital workplace platforms such as Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and virtual desktop solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships, outsourcing agreements, and budgets.
  • Experience working with iterative delivery models and ITIL aligned service management practices.
  • Confidence influencing decisions and engaging with senior leaders and executives.
  • A tertiary qualification in an ICT discipline or equivalent experience.
