Team Manager - Customer Services

We are currently looking for a Team Manager for our Auckland Customer Services team. If you consider yourself a true people person, who knows how to gain the trust of your team with unmatched enthusiasm then this may be the role for you.

You will be responsible for the management of staffing, driving positive change, seeking new solutions to old problems, delivering exceptional customer service as well as ensuring excellent operations on the ground.

The kind of skills we're looking for don't have to come purely from the aviation sector, but we do require you to be currently employed within our operation in Auckland Airport.

What you will need:

  • Eligible to work and live in New Zealand permanently (New Zealand/Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
  • Provide leadership, motivation, guidance and coaching to team members and reinforce high standards with regards to performance, safety, customer services and adherence to company values. 
  • Thrives under pressure, and is an inspirational leader of diverse teams
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset and ownership of key deliverables to ensure success of the Team.
  • Drive a strong Health & Safety culture within the team, whilst developing strong reporting behaviours
  • Be resilient and able to work under pressure
  • Hold one on one performance and development conversations with your team members
  • Minimise and manage impact of unforeseen circumstances to ensure customer satisfaction, operational integrity and company brand are protected.

You'll need to be a performer - someone who can work in a 24/7 shift work environment, who can handle a variety of scenarios, who is resilient, obsessed with delivering to the customer and passionate about caring for their team.
