We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workforce Scheduler (Crew Planner - Rostering) to join our Workforce Management team based at our Auckland Airport Campus.
As a member of our team, you will be at the heart of balancing resource commercials with the realities of flying in our environment. Ensuring we have the right people with the right skills, in the right place at the right time. You will work in conjunction with Airline Operations, Operational Integrity & Safety, Networks, Digital, People, and Finance, where no two days are the same and change is coming at you hourly.
About the role:
This role is responsible for the day-to-day rostering of our crew. You will be responsible for ensuring our crew is rostered within agreed timelines and in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements. This role requires the use of specialist systems, for which training will be provided, and a demonstrated ability to work with different technology will stand you in good stead. You will think holistically, challenge the status quo and strive to ensure we are identifying and developing new opportunities for improvement.
There is also a considerable customer service element to these roles, as we work with a variety of stakeholder groups within the organisation.
You will be an excellent communicator, both written and orally, and will have the ability to work well and calmly under pressure.
Essential skills and experience:
- Outstanding attention to detail and time management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow a process methodically whilst maintaining a common-sense approach.
- Good level of competence in MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to interact with and influence a diverse stakeholder group
- Ability to rapidly adapt to new tools and technology.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a workforce management role.
