Celebrating half a century of service

Ron Twine has welcomed millions of passengers over more than half a century at Air New Zealand.

It was great to see Ron celebrated with his colleagues, friends and family, as he touched down from his final flight NZ23 from Vancouver – his last Tour of Duty after 53 years of service.

He’s welcomed millions of passengers over more than half a century and it’s important to acknowledge this tremendous milestone and his dedication and commitment over the years.

Congratulations on your retirement Ron and all the best for your new chapter. You’ll always be a part of the Air New Zealand family.

“Find a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”. Sending off our longest serving flight attendant, Ron Twine, after 53 fabulous years of flying. Thank you for everything Ron!
