What we do in Japan
Air New Zealand has a proud history of operating to and from Japan. We provide direct daily flights between Tokyo and Auckland – increasing to ten flights a week over peak season. We also fly to Osaka three times a week during peak season. For these services we use our Boeing 777 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
Why our people love working here
With offices based in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan is home to around 35 staff. This region is a special part of the Air New Zealand family. We have serviced this market for over 30 years, so even though we’re a small team we have a strong connection with the Japanese people. Our focus is on encouraging the Japanese to visit New Zealand by flying with Air New Zealand – the only carrier that can offer them a uniquely Kiwi customer experience from the moment they step on board the aircraft.
What you need to succeed
The Japan team is heavily focused on Sales & Market Development and does a great job at representing New Zealand as a destination of choice. If you’re experienced in sales and marketing, there may be opportunities available for you.

To become part of the Air New Zealand Japan team you will need to meet our job requirements and have the legal right to work in Japan or be able to qualify for a work permit.
